What happens to you is not in your power, but perhaps how you deal with it, and how you respond to it, can be.

We all have both a potential for acting on impulses that serve others and those that serve no one.

We all have the potential to break someone down, but also to build. Build character, build courage and hope.

Where focus goes, energy grows.

If we can focus our attention on growth, hold compassion for all the pain that is felt, and create a safe environment where all our experiences are welcome, then there is potential for moving through, letting go and releasing what we hold on to so tightly.

If we can focus our attention on listening, on gratitude for what we can cultivate through an experience, then we focus on bringing up the gold, like water is pulled up through the roots of a plant from the soil.

Our experiences are the compost from which we grow, giving us vital nutrition in preparation for what comes next.

This page is about sharing those experiences.

A place where we can commemorate what we have been through and in this way support someone else who might be going through it alone.

The intention is to create community that goes beyond colour, culture or gender. Where we find unity in our diversity, with a common thread of finding the gold within our experiences - the harvest of pulling through.

We are the treasure keepers, who hold in reverence the experience of the past, so that it may lay the foundation for our future in the present.

We are the treasure keepers of stories, young and old and revere the wisdom that comes from living life and being moved into creating circles of compassion for one another.

We are the treasure keepers of joy and life giving creative playfulness because a part of living life fully is to fully experience the joy it has to offer and in its fullness we do not deny any part that is human.

We are the treasure keepers of light that goes beyond, a loving wisdom, creating a safe place for all of those who need shelter from the raining disappointments of life, to remind you that this too shall pass.

We are the treasure keepers of dance. Dancing into our lives meaningful connection, creating space for the healing tears of pain and the deep resonance ringing sound of laughter.
